Linc on hiking and climbing Suicide Rock, Idyllwild, California

First it's church, then a hike up to Suicide Rock, then a climb up "Finger Licking Good," (rated 5.7). Not a "tips" video, but instead, a look at the town, the hike, and one particular moderate rock climb. All in all it makes for a great day in late July, 2009. Remember to display an adventure pass on your rear view mirror or dashboard. An occasional rattlesnake can be seen on the mountain. Hike and rock climb at your own risk and know your limits. Rock climbing it's a great sport, I am not fanatical about it, for obvious reasons, but I try

to do the necessary little bit to help me out on my prospects for mountaineering or scrambling trips which require sometimes such skills. Cheers,

@PatrickSeaStar1 According to my Google search of "Abominable Idyllwild" indeed it was filmed in Idyllwild--one of the nicest mountain towns I've ever been to. Good trivia question : )
