LEGEND OF THE GALACTIC HEROES [銀河英雄伝説]: IFRIT

I worked on this in November to December of 2007, but I was really hoping for this to open for my page in 2008. Legend of the Galactic Heroes is an anime series that either gets no attention at all, or is dismissed as boring, but at 110 episodes, filled with an intriguing political backdrop, with many characters without bias, it stands in aniime as the true, epic space opera, even greater than gundam (in my honest opinion, although I love gundam). Please watch this vid, rate, comment, and please. check out these episodes here on YouTube for yourself (if you dare) and give this series a chance. It's not for everybody, but if you're interested in a good story, give it a shot! :)

Hey there mike, glad youre getting interested in this series. It's well worth your time to watch it. When you say "really" only in Japanese, what do you mean by that? It's quite easy to get the subbed version (which I used here) online. I relied on this version on a VHS during my time in H.S. in the late 90s, and it's the same version. Don't pass this up man. Hi, I assumed that because it's only fansubbed and very long that trying to find the whole thing would result in a mishmash of different sub quality/accuracy. However if the whole thing has been done to the quality seen here (IE plain English in readable fonts!) then that'll be cool XD.

Mike, it's been the same guys that fansubbed this particular version since the late 90s. They ripped the LDs and subbed it. The group is called Central Anime, and I think they did a fantastic job here.  There are HK knockoff dubs, but the ones you'll usually find are from Central Anime. Unlike other fansubs, this one group did the whole thing.
