I bought this '09 Kawasaki Ninja 250 for my fiance\girlfriend and it is sooo nice. They are hard to more...find and are a very user friendly bike! This is probably the cleanest you will ever see it again lol. She takes care of her stuff though. One order are a set of carbon fiber frame sliders with silver tips and we have the tank guard ready to put on it. Should be a nice set up!

  • @russianmerc No problem! But also consider other bikes as well. Don't jump into the 250 just because others say it's great. If you want to do a lot of highway time all the time than a 650 my be better or sport touring base bike. But I can vouch in saying that with the 250 gas, insurance, parts, looks, usability, mods, and add ons are cheap (most of the time) and easy to find.

fantastic! thank you again for all the help!! :)

  • @russianmerc No problem, I have a video of it on the highway somewhere in my videos. If I remember correctly, about 8-9k rpm at about 75MPH. I currently have over 3600 miles on it with the original tires lol. So tire wear is VERY low due to weight and power. Up to 100mph it is stable, over that and it gets sketch, over passes it will pull (me and a passenger) at about 80 at pretty open throttle. Would go faster but was curvy. Like I said though, tires isn't something to worry about.

  • @starhobo14

thank you, Long distance trips, 70mph? 9k rpm or so? Also Higher speeds on highways tire-wear?

reason why keep asking questions, is doing research on 250's before i take the plunge.

  • @russianmerc Yes sir. I have yet to have a problem with this bike. For 200+ miles I notice the revs start to bug me because it's so high. But no problems what so ever.

  • Q: riding the bike about 200miles in a single trip, 65-70mph, pretty reliable?

  • @divyadas4 Dude, R6. Drop dead sexy. But I don't know much about the way the new bikes are setup. I hear the GSXR's have a mean motor setup.
