Solio on Safari

Very costly, poorly constructed and serious problems with ability of the units to continue working in the harsh conditions. The I.P. rating on these units are also not very good.

Nice thought maybe and a step in the right direction but badly made and poor overall battery life means they're just not worth it.

OK, so how do you know all that? Do you own one? because really, unless you worked on producing them or researched and tested them there's no other reason to discredit another great step into alternative energies

I have researched and tested them and as such, have decided against further support of this product as we think it to flimsy in design and too flakey in operation. Cheap materials and construction, poor quality.

to fruitchute I have used the Solio near Santa Cruz Bolivia and it would not charge in the harsh sun. I had it perfectly working. within three days the Solio wouldn't charge. It still works but it takes wayy longer to charge.

i have found the opposite to be true and have used one for that past 3 years!

what about the solio classic?is that as unreliable as the H1000.on the website they even say that the battery will last only a year
