when they changed their format, i couldn't handle living in northeast ohio anymore. i packed my s**** and moved to southern california. listened to KLOS in orange county, then they changed their format, so i booked it to diego, where we have KGB. i hope they don't change their format- i like it here...how about the BLF Bash?
@ohiosouthpaw Nice insult for us born in the 70's who don't know about real radio is really BS. I feel the same way you feel about radio. So next time think and ask people born in the 70's about yesterday and today radio before writing down some crap only you feel strong about.
The buzzard rocked back then not like today. Its ashame to be called the buzzard today. How can you compare howard to these guys? Its two totally different formats and plus howard is on satilate radio.
Jeff Kinzbach would become the voice of WOIO Channel 19 in 1985 when the station signed on the air and would do voiceovers for Channel 19 for nearly ten years.
Well, if you're impressed just hearing another deep voice guy on the radio, then sure. But that "wacky morning zoo" format got old fairly quickly. "Hey, let's yuck it up with Mr. Leonard for the 12th time this hour! Hey, let's mention one of the local high schools on the air! Yeah!"
Sorry, but you can't beat Howard when it comes to his interviews and overall entertainment factor.

oh man. Jeff had an awesome voice. I'd rather listen to that instead of Howard Stern anyday!
