From the works of living enlightened master Paramahamsa Nithyananda, this clip is taken from Patanjali Yoga Sutras discourse delivered by Him in 2009. In this video clip, He describes the different levels and types of sleep. The clip particularly focuses on sleeping in dream state (dream sleep). Awareness in the dream sleep leads to continuity in sleep. This rejuvenates oneself to have a blissful wakeful state. A meditation technique to increase awareness in the dream sleep is given in this discourse, which ultimately can lead oneself to experience the fourth state of consciousness - Turiya or enlightened state.

Paramahamsa Nithyananda is an enlightened master living amidst us today. With a worldwide movement for meditation and inner bliss, Nithyananda continues to offer life solutions for things as trivial as every day stress to something as profound as enlightenment. Nithyananda conducts meditation programs all over the world. Inner Awakening is one such profound program. It is a 21 day experiential meditation program to live enlightenment or Jivan Mukthi. • @tylertyler82 dreams are as real and as much a part of your life as ur 3d state. if u can only realize for urself that it is important for you to not lose awareness when u go to sleep. and experience every second of it you can see for urself what treasures are to be found in ur dreams and what enlightenment is.

  • Of course NOT!

  • is that solid gold behind him? lol

  • Yes, you should have this THOUGHT even at work. Just leave this THOUGHT deep inside your heart and keep doing your daily task. May be you can also think when you see objects, think Jesus is there; when you hear or feel something think Jesus is that sound or that feeling. This will help you to have the continuity of THOUGHT. I wish you follow this and have a spiritual experience.

  • tyler,

This method is possible. First few days it is hard but slowly you will know that you can do it. The THOUGHT of Jesus in you should run like a background task in the computer. You've to do it will full heart, sincerely. Before you start this technique, do a total surrender to God. Means, pray to God saying "God please forgive me, I have forgiven all my enemies, my life is left in your hand from this day, you take me to whereever you want me to go and give me whatever you want me to have.

  • To put things simple let me give you a method to follow which could lead you to real spiritual experience. But you should practice it sincerely and intensely. Intensely is non-stop for atleast a month or two. Think about a favourite God, may be Jesus in your case. Let Jesus's THOUGHT run in your heart/mind all day. Think about him when you go to bed. Keep this THOUGHT running all day, everyday for a month or two. The more sincere you are, the spiritual experience will be quicker.

  • Jai Swamiji!

  • It gets a lot easier with time. Try to get the jist of it rather than picking out individual words and translating them.

  • i really want to understand what he is saying but i can't interpret most of it.. i'll listen more and hopefully it will come to me :-"
