Do hot girls have all the advantages?

Do good looks actually work for or against you on youtube? Well if it was a straight attention economy, then obviously yes. However much of what goes on here on youtube is about communication, and there a lot of this 'free attention' really does get in the way.
For me its a tricky question. I've long suspected that if I was a pretty young girl, it would be a LOT easier to get peoples attention. However the flip side is not all of that attentions where you want it to be.

Now I've got a lot of respect for Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks, primarily for the stellar example she gives of how to deal with online criticism. This factor should be stressed as Ana is kinda pretty, and as expected, gets a lot attention for it, and not all of it is pretty or where she wants it to be. However her ability to ignore the simplistic chatter and stay on target has to be admired.

If only we had more women like this in the secular community. Yknow the simple stuff, lead from the front, lead by example etc etc.

Thunderfoot being a TYT-fan, interesting. I think they start coming up with more and more bullshit. Now they are claiming that drug sniffer dogs don't find drugs, but are racist instead! Every reasonable person should go to the TYT channel, type in "dogs" as a search word and then vote all these videos down which are spreading this conspiracy which feeds the whole victimhood industry and please leave comments of disapointment!

Social pages, easier and broader ways of communication and the internet's anonymity shield are something new to humankind and, in my opinion, people are still learning how to deal with it, specially when exposing your life and opinions online.

It's really required to develop a thicker skin and detect trolls and not care about them. Because arguing with someone who has a pleasure in other's misfortune really isn't there to make a point and is not worth your time.
