How To Create Custom System Alerts from Mp3's on your iPhone using SMS Text and Calendar Alarm as an example!
(Complete Instructions Here↓)

1) Jailbreak your iPhone
2) Goto Cydia, download OpenSSH and Pair Your Device to your Wi-Fi connection. Download Fugu for your Mac from: http://fugu.en.softonic.com/mac
3) Choose your mp3 and goto iTunes Preferences/General Preferences
4) Click Import Setting and choose Import Using: AIFF Encoder
5) Click OK for both prefs and then select your mp3
6) Right click the mp3 and click Create AIFF Version
7) Drag the AIFF version to your Desktop
8) Launch your Audio program (I use Soundtrack Pro or you can get Audacity for Free)
9) Open the AIFF file, select the part of the clip you want to discard and press delete (the clip can be anywhere from 0 to 30 seconds max)
10) If you want to modify the tone you can Select the clip and in "Process" click Convert to Mono you can also Adjust Amplitude or EQ to your taste
11) Under File select Save As: alarm (to replace the Calendar Alert) *or sms-received6 (for Text Alerts, the sms-received file can end with any # from 1-6)
(*You can also save this file as any of the iPhone Alert files listed within the UI folder shown below as long as you name it the same as the one you are replacing)
12) Select File Type: Core Audio File
13) Bit Depth: 8-bit integer
14) Sample Rate: 44100 Hz and the click Save
15) Launch Fugu
16) Enter your IP Address (found in Settings/Wi-Fi/Network)
17) Username: root
18) Password: alpine
19) Click Authenticate then click Connect
20) Select the "/" in the Connect to: (drop down menu)
21) double click System/Library/Audio/UISounds
22) Depending on which alert you created select either the: alarm.caf file or sms-received6.caf file (or any other Alert file you are replacing)
23) Right click, select Rename and add a .bak to the end of the existing file name then press enter
(this is a backup of the original iphone tone)
24) drag your new .caf file into the iPhone window and click Overwrite
25) Reboot your iPhone
26) If you created an SMS tone goto Settings/Sounds/New Text Message and select Electronic
(which = 6 if you used sms-received6.caf)

That's it. It will play your custom tone. If you created an alarm.caf you can hear it when your Calendar has been set and any other tone you've replaced will be played as it normally should.

NOW CHANGE YOUR OpenSSH Password!

27) Goto Cydia and download MobileTerminal and open it
28) Type: login
29) Type: root
30) Type alpine
31) Type your new password
32) Retype your new password
33) Type killall SpringBoard (with caps on the S and B)
34) Next time you Launch Fugu enter your new password.
