  • 8:28 What is that white floting around the external tank?

    It looks big and to go relatively slow.

    I'm guessing a small piece of ice but thats just my guess :s

  • @mdr48371: Its the separation motors on the SRB's that fire just after they seperate from the shuttle, you can see them firing at 5:32

  • What causes the charring on the external tank that you can see after it is separated from the shuttle?
