Very nice time lapse. But how come you dont get horrible noise at an ISO of 2000? Thanks.
-
@Harles99 yer, i tried last night all i got was stars and a ball of light down the bottom no milky way.
although i don't know where to point the camera
-
@skittlepower95 ... true, but the stars and milky way wont be as visible with the light pollution
-
@i1li1l you can do it in a city except you need long exposure times and a high iso
-
Harles could u give me advice on doing a timelapse, shooting from around 5pm to 1am in the morning, how do i adjust my settings to shoot the light of day then night time?

I don't get the 15fps notation at all. I assume that is a typo? 30 second exposure at 5 second intervals would give you two frames every 1 minute and 10 seconds (about)

@JimInMs Not a Typo. You are correct about the two frames every 1min 10sec. Look at it this way - In approx 1hr time I shoot 120 pictures. If you where to play those pictures in a sequence at 15fps it would last 8sec. (120/15 = 8 sec). For this video I shot about 345 pictures (almost 3hrs real time ... 345/15=23 sec). That 15fps is the is the frame rate at which all the pictures are played back in a sequence. If I where to play all the Pictures back at 24fps the video would last about 14 secs.

Thanks for posting your exposure details. Seems like a lot of timelapsers keep that info to themselves as if it were a trade secret...
Were you shooting in shutter priority or full manual? Guessing manual and stopped down a bit?
