The fireman is a great first exercise to learn. (In fact I felt I had to start with the fireman as it just feels wrong for me to start teaching with anything else!) The fireman is a simple but elegant spin with the thighs gripping the pole.

Uuh... You say not to put your feet on the pole then when you spin, they are almost on the pole and you don't even point your toes... I think you should redo your video, it's definitely not the best I've seen (I don't mean to be nasty but you should redo this one) :)

Yes, it's not the best Fireman I've ever done. If I could go back in time and redo the spin, I'd try to tighten it up.

But the main point of this video is to teach the move, to tell people important points about the spin so they can do it well themselves. And I think I cover that pretty well, even if the demo at the end is a little off.
