Warning: MASSIVE spoilers for The 3rd Birthday. If you have not seen the final scenes in the game, this will spoil EVERYTHING for you, as this entire video uses said scenes. Watch at your own risk.

Summary (spoiler-free):
No matter how much blue, black, or white she wore, Aya never seemed able to escape the color red. Especially since it was the color of blood. Even on her wedding day, garbed in a beautiful white dress, red invaded her life again, staining everyone present with red blood. And in the end, she was engulfed by that color.

GMV Awards edit (with spoilers):
This video was originally made to fit the color theme of red that I was given in the Deus Ex Machina contest I entered it into. I had just watched the entire storyline of The 3rd Birthday pretty recently at said point, and thus was heavily inspired to use the final scenes. The shock of the truth, the pain that both Aya and Eve felt, the utter misery Eve endured to get to that point only to discover the horrible truth....and above all, the anguish Eve—and the Aya fans, like myself—felt when it was made clear that Aya's demise was the only option available...It all really drew me in. Those last few scenes punched me harder in the gut and made me sob much more than I had over any Final Fantasy since VII and VIII. I tried to show how powerful the emotions in the final scenes were to me, and, if I may be allowed to say it, I think I succeeded; this particular video of mine touches me whenever I watch it.

  • I need money to play this game!! i've played the first one a while back never got around to the second so I think I just might skip it for this one! unless have you played the second? is it worth the $20 ? xD this is really great I loved your story to it!

  • @FoudroyantSun

    Thank you. ^w^

Aha, nope, never got my hands on the second one. I've never even seen a physical copy anywhere.... O_o

But I really love T3B finally giving Aya an improved-graphics look. ♥ I only wish the game's liberation is what the original's was. I'd have loved to see what T3B's graphics would have done for that. X3

But yeah, unless you want to say you've played all three, go on and skip 2 and play T3B. :D

  • This is AMAZING. I haven't played the new game yet but it looks amazing. c:

  • @xoxoYuseixoxo

Thanks. I'm totally in love with The 3rd Birthday's storyline. Reestablished my love for Aya. ^.^ ~♥

And I really loved making this; those final scenes are incredible....
