Hamid Karzai threatens to join Taliban ranks

Karzai is deemed to change sides. Now he is seriously considering joining Taliban would be more beneficial to him for his long term political career. After his decree for more power in the selection of members of Afghan Election Commission was rejected by the Parliament last, he went on to accuse the west of `interfering` in the affairs of his country which was reciprocated by the west accusing him of failing to perform against administrative corruption and ill-governance. Now, Karzai has warned the Afghan Parliament that in case he gets more pressurized by the west and his amended laws are rejected, he would join Taliban ranks and hence change Taliban rebellious movement into a National Resistance Front.``

the might of the western world has descent upon afghanistan. The fact that this ill equipped, rag-tag band of fighters have stand-up to the most advance military forces in the world for the past 8 years is beyond explaination.

Karzai should be shot in the head. He is an enemy of NATO! The US created him and the Us can destroy him. Afghanistan has not faced the full military power the United States. I remember the Taliban running to Pakistan when the B52's were in the air. The US can do a hell of alot more damage than is thought possible. The reason why not is that restrictions are being placed on our troops and air force; where the Taliban have no restrictions.With Pakistan with Nukes, do you think we'll leave?

This is obviously a bluff, a bit of political theatre, part of the whole eternal barganing process of politics and shouldn't be taken too seriously. He knows if the Taliban ever actually came back his head would be on a pike faster than it would take to score heroin in Khandahar.

Just because he has been an American puppet for the last 6 years don't forget he is a Pashtun born in the small village of Karz in Kandahar, even the lowest Pashtun can only be pushed so far.
