Howto: Hooking Up A KVM Switch

Im going to show you how you can use your dual screen setup and still use your xbox 360 at the same time. I have my xbox hooked up to 1 monitor and the other is my iMac; i was wondering if i could still have my dual screen setup and still use my xbox 360 without having to disconnect and re-hook up the VGA cables and this is that solution for that.

what do u use your dual display for? other than the xbox. I am a developer with a new 27 inch imac + a dual display and i have trouble finding a use for it, other than for my ps3, which i also use a kvm switch for :/

@wemosam mini display to dvi or you can try an external video card

I'll try to list some of the problems I have, hoping to not make it sound lecturing (sorry if I fail to do so):

@ 0:44 almost all I see of your kvm switch is a black box.

@ 1:00 you are sounding unsure of what you want to say.

@ 3:20 you have one/more things in your hands, that don't matter to what you're demonstrating.

@ 3:35 again I hear a lot of "ehm".

Long story short...a lot of little things that make it rather hard to follow - for me, at least.

@neek247 Im just wondering around 5:30-6:11 you had a connector type thing, with yellow binding, and you connected both blue and xbox cables, do I really need that? Or is it shipped with the xbox VGA, because well i dont know what it is

Thanks for the video. I have a laptop and im getting a extra monitor as dual screen, i want to hook up my xbox to the monitor that ill be getting. can you specifically list the components that ill be required?

I actually just used this and a component to vga adapter :D
