Yes, one truck with old rusty wires pulling up an overload, and a couple of times when I couldn't align so the wire would get cut between the container and the truck.
...Stupid thing is, the cut situationt were like "hey, this ain't gonna work, but I'll try it anyway..." and guess what - I was right.

Have you had wires snap before?

The wires were quite good and there were no obvious risk of cutting.
Those wires are 16 mm and should easily take that container up even if it was full with bricks.
But yes, a wire could cut the head off a man.

snapping wire = SPLAT! hehe

I'd always concider the situation. An empty 12m3 on relatively flat ground should not be that dangerous - you notice I operate the controls as I film, right?
But if other people are around, I always tell them to get so far away that a snapping wire will not reach them.

... and 3, never stand right beside the container when being loaded :) rocked around when it met the frame...
Imagine the soft ground is still wet... ;D

This is old seabed that has been landfilled. Dig down 1-2 meters and the hole will fill up with salt water.
in 1964 the map shows this spot as 500 meters offshore :-)
