As we do every winter, Gizmo and I journeyed out to a circuit of caves that, in much warmer weather, is all but a 35 minute bike ride from my front door. With three feet of snow lying on top of the mile-long distance between the highway and the first set of caves however, this can take much longer. And it certainly did.
We were the only visitors to the area in weeks. Maybe even months. And with Gizzy trailing behind me through a pathway that I was making for us we finally made it to our destination safely. With an adventure ahead of us and a borrowed camera in my hand (small town neighbors are the bestest - thanks, Ms. L), we ventured beyond the snowy breach, and returned with a little something for all our friends out there. A link that will take you to last year's excursion out there: http://www.flickr.com/photos/31109230@N05/sets/72157612282742337/
Till the next time adventure calls, my friends.
As ever;
Mikey.
Great video Michael!...my sister and brother and I were there in the fall. We lived in Wiarton in the sixties so the caves and the Coran were adventures for us as kids. We make it back to Wiarton a couple of times a year and of course a trip to the Coran is a must. I absolutely enjoyed your series on the Coran...Looking forward to more of your adventures from God's country....
