I'm 20 and I've told all my guy friends most of which who are straight and they where fine with it, but I guess around family I'm not comfortable with it, I know they wouldn't mind and then be a little upset,but get over it but it's still something i'm getting use to, the word "gay" still doesn't feel right yet, so I'm slowly getting there

In my experience chicks take the news and there more understanding. I think it's cause typically they like dick too and they can see the attraction. ^_^ And if they don't like dick they understand cause there gay too ^_^

i came out when this year and my life has never been better. one day i just got sick of hiding myself away and could stand pretending to everyone...i done all of these things lol and im PERFECTLY fine :DDDD

I came out to my friends YEARS before I came out to my mom. I'm pansexual. She was watching an "it gets better video" and after it was over, she looked at me and the look on my face and went "what? are you going to tell me you're gay now?" I said, not exactly. It's so true that you NEVER know how they'll react. It was so anti-climactic with my mom. She was just like, pansexual, what's that? And I explained she was like. Oh, ok. It's the talks that have come afterward that have been interesting.
