Documentary of the first Gulf War in 1991. This is made in the 90's before the current crisis in Iraq started. These are the parts 2 and 3 of the four part series. I don't have the first one, fourth is on some VHS, I'll try to find and upload it on weekend. Unfortunately the tape run out few minutes before the end on part 3 and the audio quality is a bit bad.
Yep. This is my first upload, so let's see how it goes. And sorry for my English, can't help if my errors disturb somebody.

  • I like to hear both side viewed about the war.. not only the American but Iraqis too...

we'll know so much about Americas firepower how they attack, what technology involved and etc...

what about Iraqis? how they defend themselves from this aggression? how they planning the war?

I'm neutral and want to take a deep view of the pass history..

  • the goverment might have other goals in war but the troops are the the good guys fighting to help ppl

  • Why is it the foreign press or some foreign news agency always seems to be more accurate about the true events and happenings as to america's wars than the american press does?

  • @baldwinjackson41 it was over Saddam Hussein, he invaded Kuwait to get their oil. we are still in Iraq and afghan because of the Taliban and alqadie

  • @baldwinjackson41

I think I can explain that

Kuwait and Iraq were not fighting .. Iraq attaked Kuwait to be the first step toward taking over the region under their authority.

At that time the Iraqi army were more than the population of adults in Kuwait .. So there wasn't fighting .. It was a big country wants to show off its power over its small neighbour.

  • Those hippies should go to Kuwait and ask them if they live better under Iraqi's rule. Dirty cunts.

  • @baldwinjackson41 Iraq invaded Kuwait... i am not saying anymore than that.

  • @baldwinjackson41 Kuait was "slant drilling" into iraq for oil. they were building oil wells on Kuait's soil but underground the wells went into Iraqi terrority. so they were stealing Iraq's oil. Iraq was not pleased so they invaded Kuait. The countries of Iraq, Kuait, and most other middle eastern nations was determined by the British after world war 2 (dont ask me why). So Iraq also claimed that Kuait was only a country becuase they sold oil to England and the US. Which is true.

  • @baldwinjackson41 Iraq was in economic turmoil with major debts to pay after their war with Iran. Kuwait has major oil resources and was an easy target for Iraq to invade. Iraq had no justification for going into Kuwait so the U.N. removed Iraq troops from Kuwait through military force. The Gulf War has nothing to do with Afghanistan. The Gulf War began the confrontation between Saddam and the U.S. and Iraq invading Kuwait confirmed to the world that Saddam was a threat and unpredictable.
