This is a memorable Songhai Talent Night recorded at the venue built for and by the Ancestors. Every Friday, local talented artists come to the Songhai City Cultural Center at 3117 Master Street in North Philly to display the products of their hard work, extraordinary commitment and God-given abilities. They compete for a cash prize, but are clearly there for the exposure and the comradery. Check out what happens there.

Note: Even though Talent Nights are amazing and this recording captures that well, we want to tell you that the video is maybe a C on production value. The quality of sound in the recording is good, but the placement of the camera makes identifying the individual performers a challenge. Several complete songs are included, but most are partials.
