@rredxxrussell Well your current choice is more likely to kill you than being in the ocean with an orca lol. Just because they are efficient and tactical hunters doesn't mean they are mindless killing machines. You underestimate how intelligent they are. You're more likely going to get attacked by a tiger in the wild than an orca. There are no current records of an orca attacking a human.

Amazingly beautiful... Orcas are my favorite animal, and to see them so nice =) And the setting of this video is so gorgeous! This, by far, is my favorite video on Youtube. ♥♥

@makaveliguy how can you be so sure that their sonar identifies us as one of them?! i think that the orcas simply is not interested and they cant tell that this is an edible species because we are new to them ...but if they knew we where an easy bite they would not hesitate ...if they usually dont eat their species how come orcas eat dolphins sometimes ?

Orca: "Yes yes, amazing, the haddoc are in a densely packed, easy to catch ball. It took me the better part of an hour to get them like that, so bugger off before you ruin it"

Awesome dive guys

people dont understand that dolphins/orcas sonar identifies humans as one of them.....they can hear our heartbeat etc.....they basically see us as one of their species...thus they dont see us as food source and so not attack us.

3 people are afraid of water

How are these guys possibly nuts? These are beautiful creatures who are harmful, and it's all very peaceful. It is my dream to do this with sealife, but mainly orca's and sharks. If you think they're nuts, then what is life? :)
Wow! What an awsome experience!!
I just have to see this for myself one day!
Loved the video!

@superman An orca's echolocation is so accurate they can actually tell the difference between different species of salmon and go for their preferred prey species. In the water, they're going to know that you're definitely not a seal or a dolphin. The only two recorded "almosts" with wild orcas were both when the people were out of the water, one was a boy in shallow water filled with seals and one was a man on an ice floe with barking dogs. Both times the attack was aborted before contact.
