Waking Van Winkle

Another short movie for my film course. In this project we had to create something that followed a manifesto, which could be based on anything we wished. I originally decided I would do a film about Hans christian Anderson's the shadow, but I ran out of time and therefore decided to make a short film based on rip van winkle. Hopefully the shadow film will be done after christmas.

The tree is based on the illustrations of arthur rackham, who not only illustrated a version of rip van winkle, but also a story involving a character called the elderberry- an old tree on crutches.
