The game "F29 Retaliator" was an excellent game for both the Amiga and the PC in the early 90ties. I played this game all the time back then.
One of the hardest tasks in this game was to survive Zulu Alert. Here i successfully shot down all 23 enemies... but that could not have been achieved without unlimited ammo.
Also: i never learned how to land the game... since i was mostly interested in the fighting and bombing aspects of this flight simulator. Also because landing is hard. But here almost 20 years after the game was puplished i am a little ashamed of me never learning how to land this airplane in this game :-(

Remember getting to play this many years ago, it was over the Christmas Holidays...spent many hours on this...then going to the pub, mentally knackered after a day of 'campaigns'. A truly magic time :)

This was a really cool game. I used to love blowing up the buildings too. The only thing that bugged me was that it says "Cheyenne Mountain, WY" at the beginning...

Man thanks for the video!
But I remember, when learning how to land and in the end how to engage correctly, f29 was AWESOME dogfight game. Where you had mostly low-range missiles, one for each enemy, and you had to go right on their tail else they chaff them off. And if you miss your only chance is to gun them down. That was awesome. Zulu with inf amraam missiles isnt so fun.. :(
