The infamous prussian army assaulted Gdansk in January 1793 but Polish crew aided by all city withstood siege for a month until treacherous treaty was signed with Catherine.Treacherous, because Prussia was officially Polish ally. @Elberiver11 I am not a racist and for me Mongols are as good people as anyone else. This is not the race but other qualities like civilisation, moral code etc that drive nations. But as a matter of fact Poles are not Mongols, they are indoeuropeans of R1a1a male chromosome haplogroup, the oldest indoeuropeans inhabitingEuropa. Germany had own, client and corrupt government in Poland since 1926. So it was about 20:1 vs.Poland. Only a coward can thrive and boast in such proportion. Until USSR invaded Poland Sept.1939 it was far from over. Germany was a bandit state.
