What an ungodly thing to say. There are children who need families and your primary concern is pride? Maybe you should open your home to a child instead of harping about the parents being of a different culture, or colour or whatever your little problem is. God bless.

@Ethiopia7711 These parents aren't doing a bad thing by adopting this child, would you rather have the child never be adopted or grow up years in an orphanage waiting to be? Don't be so selfish.

you must think you're a good people cause you adopted a baby from Ethiopia but your not. You're just giving Africa a bad name to cover up the shit you have in your own country. next time try adopting a baby from your neighborhood. you have more orphans than we do!
And yes i am Ethiopian and i am proud to be Ethiopian. My country is a HEAVEN unlike how you white people portray it.

@silmsadie Far from it. We have the utmost respect for the Ethiopian culture and plan on having our daughter understand her birth culture, form community with people from her birth culture and develop a love for Ethiopia.
We adopted for none of the reasons you listed. You should be proud to be Ethiopian and yes, Ethiopia is heaven. Have you adopted?
