Can i for one moment ask you not only to think about the morals the bible tells us, but also about their use?

Homosexuality in the ancient worls was used as a tool of humiliation, and was thus marked a sin by the bible to stop the humiliation.

No sex before marriage had the use that a pregnant woman with no husband was in big trouble.

That is where these morals come from. Today they have surpassed their usefullness.

I think god wants to be worshipped by prayer, not by old morals.

Thanks for the comment. With all due respect, It sounds like you have re-interpreted some very clear Scripture to evade what God clearly calls sin. God truly wants us to avoid these sins that we might have a blessed life. "Now that you know these thing" Jesus said, "you will be blessed IF you do them.

Our bodies are not ment to go out and do things like that. It defiles us. Our bodies are one body in Christ. If we defile ourselves we defile Him.

Its not about the spouse Its about the LORD and His Command.

We are to love and serve Him above all else.

@Ads4Christ I agree with scripture, I am reaping what I sow for the sexual immorality I have done in my life, because I had no guidance or direction and was deceived many times, I would have never suffered the emotional, physcal and mental anguish of sexual sin. I pray that the Lord will heal me and give me a new heart. Amen.

Well not if it turns out one of the thousands of other religous faiths are correct, or even that your own particular denomination of (im assuming) christanity is deemed as wrong by God.

And If Allah is actually the true god, your just as screwed as us atheists. In fact more so maybe. Islam aint to keen on the whole christ thing... i rather been an atheists and say i wasnt convinced by any god then i choose a heathen one.

It seems so strange to me that God would create the animal kingdom with all the wild sexual instincts that are so completely natural, yet would impose a sexuality morality on the human species without taking away any of those same sexual instincts. Why create us to be biologically designed to want and seek sex, like any other animal, yet condemn us a restrictive, sexually opressive system of "morality"?

But then again im a male immoral sinful bisexual atheist so what do i know?

abel, atheïsm could be considered blind faith too. but i know exactly how you feel and think, i used to be an atheist and am still surrounded by atheists. blind faith, or as i like to call it, just-in-case-christianity, is pretty bad. but there is a huge amount of very intelligent christians, and even scientists, that have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

a waste of time? it's a shame you think of it that way! then again you share the view that most of the western world has nowadays.
