    hi this is simon raymonde from bella union...that makes me sad to read. I did everything i could for the czars and its tragic that they werent more successful but to say i screwed them over is a bit rich! i produced two of their albums, incl The Ugly People etc entirely without any fee or any royalty payments and whilst i am sure as a label there are things we could have done better, we tried as hard as we possibly could. I am releasing a new lp by John Grant on Bella Union for those interested.

    Lovely song...and a great, atmospheric video... I love the use of background sounds... it gives the whole thing an otherworldly quality.... perfect visuals for John Grant's poignant, out there, gorgeous vocal...

    since it seems that Czars are doomed and it was a huge crime their lack of success, let's pray that John's solo carreer gets the attention it will surely deserve, please Simon, try better this time to pull the right strings.
