what i dont get is why are you teaching english in english? if you are teaching introductions and vocab needed, than how to you expect the people to understand a single thing you are sayin? :s dont get me wrong i think its good that you are making videos on this:)

@matineesuxxx Good question. Most people are false beginners, that means they already have a background in the language and have at least a small vocabulary, but no confidence. For a true beginner, Yep, the painful vocabulary lists and memorization of grammar is one way to go, the other is a lot of gesture and repeat. I believe that it isn't necessary to understand everything, but the more you are exposed to the more opportunity you'll have to use what you do know.
