I LOVE how they recorded the chorus 6 months ago and Paul can't even sing it live.
...good plan

Come back Carlos!
Get rid of that bassist in the cheap suit and that lightwieght keyboardist - I don't care if he's from secret machines.
They better have dumped them by the time I see them in Manchester in December lol
-
hes problay pissed off on how bad that keyboardist sounds, his voice is awful way to high

Paul sounds like shit... or it might the bad sound on the camera...???

@chercarol03 The sound was not that great with my camera. They sounded much better in person. Paul might have been a bit off key at times though, with a few of the higher notes, I will admit. Eh, nobody is perfect. ;-)

Is that a gesture of frustation from Banks at 2:58 ?
what's wrong with the crowd? they looked bored during this song...

@schunathy Paul was not frustrated at all with the crowd. He was just grooving and moving his head a bit at that part of the song. The crowd was pretty mellow over all but Interpol is not a mosh pit/stage diving inducing band, after all. Plus, this is "lame-ass CT" (I like to refer to my state as such) and most crowds are pretty tame compared to like a NYC show. I've seen Interpol twice in NYC and the crowds are much more into the music. It's their hometown after all. ;-)

@DeborahNIN No honey, I didn't mean that he was frustrated with the crowd, but with himself.. I don't know, I felt that vibe. I live in Europe and I've only seen shows of them/Julian Plenti here, it's madness!! (well, kind of).
Thanks for posting this video... this is history! ;-)

@schunathy Oh, no problem. I just learned about Paul's solo stuff called Julian Plenti this week. I will have to check it out. I've never been to Europe but hope to visit someday. Yes, history in the making here... Interpol playing at a tiny club in CT... so awesome! When they tour with U2, they will explode with popularity from all of that exposure! ;-)
