trouble with recording in Traktor Scratch Pro - Audio 8

I had it set up just fine for months before.. but I had to reformat Windows 7 so I just reinstalled Traktor with new update and driver. now every time I hit the record button I get an "audio recording could not be started!" pop up window in Traktor. no idea how to fix it and I've re-installed old and new drivers several times now with no luck. anyone?

@REEFOHZ - have you tried this?  shut traktor down. then right-click the Traktor icon, and select "run as admin". see if you can record now.

@ZER0income well yes, and no. lol. I don't have the problem anymore, but I have no idea what I did exactly to fix it. however try this - I originally I fixed it by right clicking the Traktor icon on my desktop and clciking "run as admin". after that I was able to record! go figure. but I still had some flukes. the little software lock button was still glowing red on my audio 8 box. so sometimes the timecoded vinyl wouldn't work. anyway all I know is now everything works fine!

hey guys if your still having the issues open your settings and go to mix recording and make sure u switch the option to internal and try again it should work
