@jeoverv Quite correct. It is far too slow for a meteorite. Spacecraft debris takes tens of seconds to cross the sky; a meteorite takes two or less. Skywatch any clear night and see how fast meteorites hit the air above us and flash into vapour. One which makes it from horizon to horizon is VERY bright at night - actually it is quite scary at first until you realise what is going on. Watch satellites passing overhead - it does not take long to see one, Count the seconds for yourself.
