I'm not sure how this came about, but British philosopher-novelist Iris Murdoch has a nearly two-hour long talk with Krishnamurti about his ideas. October 18, 1984.

  • krishnamurti looks a bit angly here.

  • He asks why are we fragmented? We are fragmented because once upon a time someone powerful had the idea this is mine or my idea and that is yours and there was disagrement. People then separated and found a different path from the other. We have continued in that way because mo one is willing to come together and agree we should "love one another". Someone has to make the first move. He says come and join me and "the other" says the same. Who is going to change first?

  • @MsCread says who?

  • @aikiroots well said

  • love that when Krishnamurti say that,,, that is real love when he did it his face it was something about it.

  • she is so stubborn,as we all are!She doesn't want to see, just to get the intellectual understanding of it.K. is so thorough though, you couldn't ask for more.

  • our consciousness is all the same because it's by design.

  • she cannot identify why there is conflict she cannot understand that there is conflict because that is the way this planet is set up and the way people are set up.

  • he's awake and she's asleep and she is struggling to understand because she is still using her brain as her "Self"

  • his passion is beyond words, I have never seen someone with passion like that.
