Vid #200! Thank you so much to all my subbers, you guys are fantastic. I know I'm kind of all over the place with inspiration, but I hope I vid your fandom often enough to keep you happy! Lol. I would never finish anything without you and my wonderful commenters.

This song has been going on repeat through my head pretty much this entire season. And it keeps getting more and more fitting. As depressed as I am that TPTB are totally screwing Blair over for the sake of melodrama, I do love my selfless Dan.

As far as I'm concerned, the second they close the book on Dair, I can finally close the book on GG. But Penn & Leighton keep pulling me back in with their witty dialogue and their perfect inflection and their good, uh I mean longing, looks. And as long as they force me to love them, I have no choice but to vid them. It's like Dan's hair. I know objectively that it's no good (it being Gossip Girl in this metaphor), but I can't help but get gushy when it's on my screen. Somehow, Penn (Dan and Blair) just pull(s) it (the show) off. (Also, crap analogy, obvs, cause I spent more time explaining it than writing it).

So. Ignore me. Watch teh pretteh.

@TheClash413 I totally agree. It's a terrible pattern, and I doubt the likelihood of tptb letting Blair go. But it's a widespread opinion with all but the Chuck-stans that Dair is GG's saving grace. They've breathed new life into the show. So part of me hopes the writers'll take note. Whether or not Blair gets away from Chuck for good (dream it, doubt it), they're definitely setting up at least an arc where Blair has/struggles with feelings for Dan. Or they wouldn't focus so much on his for her.

@openmouthwideeye It just seems to be the pattern of CB that they'll "move on" for a season and part of a season and then get back together at the end of the season, or if they got back together in the middle then they break up at the end of the season. It's just hard for me to believe it would be any different if Blair starts seeing Dan at some point. Of course I'd hope it would be different, but we'll see :)

@TheClash413 I watched the full ep for the first time in ages. Such a mistake. It was absolutely pathetic. Back to Dair scenes. I think she will reciprocate; they're definitely setting up a triangle/square/pentagon. I only hope they'll actually let her move on from Chuck rather than dabble in Dan feelings before crawling pathetically back to Chuck AGAIN and having him DEIGN to take her back (bitter, can you tell?). TPTB created something beautiful with Dair; I only hope they realize it.

Obviously this song is PERFECT for them and I absolutely love this song and have wanted someone to vid it to one of my couples (although, silly enough of me I never thought of Dan/Blair, even though they are the most perfect fit for it with the whole Brooklyn thing). Anyway, this is just beautiful. Faved for sure :D

I pretty much just watch their scenes in Gossip Girl. Their friendship/relationship is so beautiful. I don't know if they'll ever have Blair reciprocate Dan's feelings (I think it'd be hard to believe that the writers would let her love Dan more than Chuck at this point and I wouldn't want Dan to be a consolation prize), but I love that it's at least been explored. SO yay! that you vid them.
