PSJA Reads Together, The recommended reading selection for the second six-weeks of the 2010-2011 school year. The book recommended for Pre-Kindergarten to 2nd Grade is The Dog who Loved Tortillas by Benjamin Alire Sáenz Illustrated by Geronimo Garcia and presented by students from Cesar Chavez Elementary. The book recommended for 3rd to 5th grade students is a french import graphic novel, The Elsewhere Chronicles : Book One, The Shadow Door by Nykko & Bannister and was presented by students from Sorensen Elementary. Recommended for 6th-8th grade students is the book Ruined by Paula Morris presented by students from Liberty Middle School and this segment was produced by Orange Media. Recommended reading for 9th-12th grade students is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins presented by students from Options High School.
