@rock3tcat the clutch is only used during the pit lane and when the car is at a stand still at all other times no clutch is used in the manual sequential gear box

@rock3tcat Yeah, they only need the clutch to move the car from a standstill. It isn't needed to actually change gears.

No I did some research into this and what you see there is the clutch lever, the shifters are located on the outside of the steering wheel. F1 cars aren't fully automatic so they do have clutches that are manually operated..
