    P.S. I never saw any romantic potential between them. For me it seems more like a sibling relationship than anything else, with Penny kind of being the big sister.

    I don't want to be rude, but whats with you people and your shenny, lenny, shamy etc, thing? I mean, this is a comedy. Its purpose is not to make romantic scenes between characters. Where's the excitement in as you guys say, shipping the different characters into some kind of romantic relationship? Thats not what TBBT is about. Its just comedy. Its supposted to make you laugh.

    btw, a relationship between sheldon and penny would very much ruin the plot and characterization of those two.
