Unfortunately, Peter's story is not uncommon. In the studio era, the stars worked murderous hours, 6 days a week, made 3 to 6 films a year, and had to travel to promote them. That left very little time for family life, and sadly, a lot of these kids barely saw their parents growing up. I'm sure Glenn loved his son, but was unable to express it. Wonderful interview, thanks for posting.

GREAT INTERVIEW! I have ordered the book. I am crushed to discover that my heart throb was not so pure in heart, but he remains one of my all time favorites. Peter, you are charming, and I thank you for giving us an honest look at this man who was larger than life to those of us who remember and cherish those glory days of Hollywood.
