@yguyjosh It doesn't take money or programs for me to help a friend (and for him to help me) move along a trajectory of following Jesus (aka discipling) in our lives, which includes making additional friends and discipiling them. In fact, institutional church gets in the way of simply loving people and obeying the "one another" commands.

Great video! When we keep things simple we can simply focus on Christ!

In the Old Testament we find God's tabernacle. It had a staff of priests and a tribe of people called Levites who ministered in it and through it. There were regular, structured programs of sacrifices, offerings, and festivals associated with this tabernacle. And of course, money was put into this tabernacle and budgeted for it's different needs. Later on, the tabernacle was transferred to a permanent facility. It was the perfect plan of God. You can read about this in Exodus and Leviticus.

How do you love others and make disciples in an organic church without money and without anything that is regularly scheduled? Just wondering.
Edpc33, we are now God's temple. You can read about in 1 Corinthians. The OT tabernacle was a picture of Jesus, not the church. You can read about it in Hebrews. The first church was not institutional (no buildings, no staff, no programs, no budget). You can read about it in Acts.

By giving directly to the need instead of to an institutional budget.
