Actor Headshots for Success! Finding a Headshot photographer (for actors)

In this video actress/acting teacher Nelly Odessa provides tips for selecting a headshot photographer who is a perfect fit for you. The photographer should be friend, helpful, and professional. If you feel uncomfortable with a phototographer for any reason, you should not hire them to shoot your headshots because this discomfort may (and probably) will show up in the photos. Nelly mentiones four (4) ways to to get a list of good headshot photographers no matter where you live and tells what to do once you found a few photographers. This video was created specifically for actors and other performers (dancers, singers, print models, etc.).

A headshot is an essential and one of the most important marketing tools for an actor. A headshot should catch the attention of the director, producer, casting director, or talent agent and get them to flip to the other side to review your resume.
