One-shot music video, directed by Mike Hodgkinson, for "Talk to Me" by Los Angeles-based experimental indie rock outfit, the Frequency (Marc Cazorla & Alex Stiff). Shot on location at the Richard Neutra-designed VDL Research House in Silverlake, LA, on a PI Camstick miniature digital camera (no bigger than a pack of chewing gum, with no viewfinder). The video juxtaposes two nearly identical one-shot takes, colored with a small piece of filter gel (no digital coloring) — it starts with a leaf falling into a pond and ends up spiraling high over Silverlake . . . all in one take. http://www.myspace.com/thefrequencymusic
