Chapter 7

Joe's P.O.V.

As I finished the song,Naz blushed.I could tell that she liked it.Suddenly Em and Nick came through the back door,laughing and holding hands.WHAT???!!!I looked at Naz,her jaw was also open.Em and Nick looked at us,confused.

Em - What?
Joe - How did you..When did you..
Naz - HEY IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!
Em - Yup!We're friends again.
Nick - *under his breath*just friends..
Em - I'm sorry,what?
Nick - Nothing.
Naz - HA!IT WORKED!!!!!!!JOE!!!!!!!!I DID IT!!!I KNOCKED SOME SENSE INTO EM!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody starts laughing except Nick,he just smiled as if he wasn't happy to be friends with Em again.The girls didn't seem to notice it but I definitely did.As the giggles fade,Em began to yawn.

Em - Ah.I think I'm going to bed.
Naz - Yea,well,me too.*yawn*
Joe - Yea okay.See you guys tomorrow.
Naz - Wait,you're not gonna sleep?
Joe - No,not yet.I need to talk to Nick first.ALONE.

Nick looked at me,confused.

Nick - Umm..Okay?
Naz - Right.Well good night.This is Madonna,signing out.
Em - Ugh,come on!Night guys!
Nick/Joe - Night..

The girls went upstairs so it was me and Nick alone.

Joe - Soo..what's on your mind,buddy?
Nick - What?Psshh,pshhh,no,nothing!Hahaha..I..um..I'm sleepy,Night Joe!

And with that he ran upstairs.That boy is hiding something and I'm gonna find out!

Nick's P.O.V.

Does Joe know that I'm falling for Em?Crap.What am I suppose to say if he asks again?Is it that obvious?What if she knows?She'll probably want to be JUST friends..Oh god,that night I couldn't sleep!I slept at 4 AM,I think.
The next day,I woke up at 10:30 AM.Woah.I must've slept in.I got out of bed,brushed my teeth and took a shower.Later,I went down stairs to see Naz and Em watching TV with Joe in between them.

Nick - Wow,Joe,talk about womanizer.
Joe - Well hi there sleepyhead,jealous?
Nick - That you're self-centered?Hmm..Nah,I dont think so little Joey.
Naz - Hahaha!Some things never change..
Joe - He started it!
Em - Hahahahahah!Breakfast's in the kitchen,Nick.
Joe - You're lucky I didn't finish it all.

I laughed and went into the kitchen.No sign of Kevin.Hmm..Probably he went out with Ally or something..

Ally's P.O.V.

I woke up VERY excited.I took a shower and dried my hair.So,outfit check.Striped purple-black tanktop,black miniskirt and black converse.PERFECT.Not to dressy ; besides we're only going to starbucks.I got ready and when the clock strucked 10,the doorbell rang.I ran downstairs.I opened the door and saw Kevin.

Kevin - Hi.
Ally - Hey,you're right on time.
Kevin - I know.You look beautiful.
Ally - Thanks,you look great,too.
Kevin - So are you ready to go?
Ally - Yeah,sure.

Suddenly he brought out a single read rose from his back and gave it to me.

Kevin - This is for you.
Ally - Aww..that's so sweet of you,thankyou!It's beautiful.
Kevin - A beautiful rose,for a beautiful girl.

I blushed.Wow.It's true what they say.Kevin IS the cute romantic one.So we drove to starbucks.We got to know each other A LOT better.Turns out that we have so much in common!So we hung out for a couple of hours and went back to the Burke House to see Naz,Em,Joe and Nick having lunch.

Kevin's P.O.V

After 3 hours at starbucks with Ally,we finally went home.It's true what they say,time DOES fly when you're having fun.And Ally and I had a lot of fun.We have a lot in common.Fav food,color,almost everything.It's like she's my twin!We went home and saw my brothers,Em and Naz.

Nick - Yo,that's illogical,I can't have it!
Joe - Nick!Pop rocks and soda DOES kill you!
Naz - No it doesn't,Joe.
Joe - Yes it does!Em,you believe me right?
Em - Sorry Joe,but I'm kinda going with them.
Joe - WHAT?EMELYN NICOL BURKE!Why are you betraying me?You're ALWAYS on my side in these kind of things!!!!!
Em - Joe,I grew up.And,it's proven that pop rocks and soda DOESN'T kill you.
Joe - Fine.

As Joe pouts in defeat,Ally and I looked at each other and laughed.We joined in and had lunch together.After 30 minutes of laughter and food,everybody finished eating.

Kevin - Food was delicious!Who cooked?
Joe - None other than,ME!

Everybody had their eyes wide open and stared at Joe who was imitating superman except Naz,who was laughing with Joe.

Em - Joseph Adam Jonas COOK?Now THAT'S something you don't see everyday!
Kevin - Crap,I thought Naz cooked this!Joe,are you lying again?
Naz - No he isn't.He DID cook.I just helped.
Nick - Woah.I guess nothing is impossible these days huh?
Joe - Yeah,who knows?I might be Chef Joe!
Nick - Pshh,like THAT'S gonna happen.
Joe - Oh,it will!

Everybody laughed and we did the dishes and cleared the table.Finally we decided to watch TV..
