Hi, I'm Beck. I'm a travelling dog, sort of. I started out in Highlands County, but the rescue there didn't have any room for me. It was a close call, but thank goodness HSSC was able to come get me and give me a kennel to hang out in while waiting for my perfect family to find me. No one really knows for sure, but they think I'm around 2 or 3 years old. I'll be honest, I'm not totally housebroken - I need a little more practice in a real home to be sure I've got it, but I am crate trained, so all I really need to learn is how to clearly ask to go out. And I love to go outside and play. My favorite thing in the whole world is watching for lizards and squirrels to appear, and then chasing them, so you'll need to hold on to my leash when we're out for a walk! I like chasing a tennis ball, too, but haven't quite figured out how to bring it back... I a big boy, almost 63 pounds, so I'd probably play best with teenagers instead of little kids - I do love to jump up. They're trying to train me here not to do that, and I am getting better, but it's soooo much fun! So, if you have a yard and a home that needs a fun loving dog, please come meet me.
