Maybe the fact that more people than ever are going to pharmacies to quit smoking is the reason why the success rate is so bad. Pharmacists are trained in dispensing drugs safely - not counselling on addiction.

There is one reason and that is because big pharma have the monopoly on telling the country that the only way to cure their addiction to nicotine is to take more nicotine in a different form. 7% success rate from the NHS....or as any normal person would see it...93% failure rate.
