and how much would the McCain Palin campaign have used for theirs??? prob 4 million hahahaha, thanks goodness they didn't win!!!!
-
okay, so i am all for adding some glam to the wardrobe...i didn't say i was against it...but do you really need 150k to look good in your campaign?? did michelle obama spend that much to look good? and you are right all of this is a non issue as we have the right one in the house: President Elect BARACK OBAMA!! =*[o]*=
-
sh used donations to get these clothes because she wanted to look good when she campaigned...and you know that the Liberal media would have taken shot after shot at her for NOT dressing up.
and what about Michelle Obama using her $600 reimbursment check on 1 pair of earrings? thats a hell of a lot of money for 1 pair of earrings

Amount Obama spent "from donations" on renting a football stadium for his acceptance speech: $2 million. On using his chartered 767 jet to visit Hawai'i twice (for personal, not campaign reasons)? $400k (per round trip).
Coverage by the media? Minimal. Comparison to Palin's wardrobe (paid for by the RNC): Obama's expenses dwarf the ones you cite, and are no more legitimate. =^[.]^=

Like Michelle's Isabel Toledo designer dress? I'd call that "high end." And if Governor Palin hadn't had a wardrobe adjustment, then the attack-dogs would've been all over her for her "frumpiness." And your comment "High end clothes (i.e. chanel) were probably bought" is just wishful speculation. "Probably" doesn't cut it, nor does blaming Gov. Palin for the fashion choices of her campaign handlers. Why don't you address some REAL issues, like all the promises Obama is backpedaling on? =^[.]^=

I'm surprised we're even still discussing this. Do you know where Governor Palin shops in Alaska? A consignment store. That's right: She buys clothes for herself and for her family second-hand. Of course, if you had bothered to listen to what she herself said, instead of getting your information from a biased and hostile media, you might know that. But have fun beating up on her, since you're obviously more interested in the popular myths than in the woman. =^[.]^=

right "DONATIONS", but, if people were given an itemized bill reflecting what she would use those donations for, do you really think they would give the republican party their hard earned money just to dress her in THE MOST EXPENSIVE DUDS in the store?? they give it for marketing, campaigning. you can market yourself clothingwise for far less. the bulk of monies are generally used for marketing and "reaching people". i am so surprised there are many ignorant people out in this world...hmmm

Raycheetah, why would you think that sarah palin "wouldn't likely recognize designer clothes"? as she confirmed in her interview with katie couric: she's not out of touch with the world because she lives in alaska... So her not knowing how to recognize designer labels?? not likely. besides, you don't need to know the designer labels..you just need to know: the more expensive it is, the more likely its designer brand. do you really need a $4200 blouse to impress?
That's why the Joe's dig her, SHE'S one of them... She's looking out for the middle class. I just spent 150k yesterday on a muffin.

Executives fear new Democratic muscle could spark policies favoring increased unionization, higher taxes, more restrictions on trade and more regulation on the financial-services and housing sectors
