@bestamerica Its not popular outside of Japan, its a very niche market.. Even the Pachislots which are the Japanese version of a fruit machine (and more fun in my opinion) are niche.. You will only see them in a persons home, never in an arcade. The slots are built to specific Japanese laws, rules against gambling, 3 per turn bets etc. whereas the pachinko are a very localised post WWII stress buster/prize winner - balls and tokens for prizes, no money unless you see a seperate vendor.
I have a Panchinko Sankyo #239, its in okay condition and I think its kinda rare cause I haven't been able to find it on ebay or Youtube nor Amazon.
