Mafia 2 Physx tweaked for ATI/CPU!!

First of I would like to apologise for the bad video editing!! Its my worst yet so please mute or have giggle listening to them repeating them selfs.

Anyways i stumbled across a brilliant Website with ways to make your CPU do allot of the Physx stuff. Such as only the clothes moving and none of the particles flying anywere.

Or the other way around.

But messing around with certain things i have almost got very sturdy FPS with most of the particle effects and Vito's rain coat using Physx stuff with my CPU.

Every thing maxed + AA = 30fps min - 40fps avrg - 100fps max

Every thing maxed + AA = 15fps mins *when alot of debris in area* - 35fps-42fps avrg - 53fps max

Look, i understand that cpu ain't that good with physx, but it could at least go to 100%. I only get 50% max usage with a quad i5 760@ stock.

so this physx is eating CPU's performance? not GPU's that much?

@crogtaplayer i can eat your cpu but really depends on what you wont to be emmitted. If you just wont Vittos coats then its not bad but as soon as you put the dresses on it kills performance. But the particul effects can be use with out cloths pyhsx and it runs smooth.

@bo7mod2009 if that is the case then i should be the same ounce you have found the mafia 2 folder it would be in mafia ii \ edit \ APEX.

Then you have the option for for cloth or effects if you just wont cloth physx then make a back up of what is in the effects file.

Then get rid of the effects you dont want. So for you just get rid of them all but dont get rid of the effects file and make sure to back them up just in case.

And that should be it turn physx on in game restart and play! :D
