Moldova Ukraine Romania Border

Sorry not much of an edit. Video first shows the passing of the Moldovan strip en route from Odessa heading towards Reni. We pass Reni (Ukraine) - Giurgiulesti 1 - Giurgiulesti 2 (Moldova) and Galati (Romania) borders.

its not so much the road that's bad... its the thieving Moldovan customs that makes the trip a pain and that's on both their borders within the 3km. Its always a reason to pay five euro: the "chief's niece has a birthday", or there is a new "eco tax" which is so ECO FRIENDLY they dont waste paper printing receipts when you pay it.

Ukrainian roads now much better. they fix allmost all main roads for EURO-2012. so now ukr roads much better.

At least Moldovan roads are in general better than Ukrainian. Perhaps it's not such a stupid idea to tax tourists at the border. I would gladly pay 1000 grn road tax as a tourist just to get rid of the potholes.

I think it's high time that the Ukraine and Romania link up their highway systems thus doing away with the need to transit through Moldovia. Otherwise, there should be transit lanes at the Moldovan border so that transiting traffic can just pass through without stopping.

The worst road in the world is at reni. Hope you aggree.... I've past many times from these borders. Every year i am doing that trip. Greece-Ukraine :)))
