  • Hey, look yonder, tell me what's that you see

Marching to the city of Kabul.

Looks like handsome Johnny with an M16,

    Marching to the Afghan war,

    Marching to the Afghan war.

    40 years and nothing's changed. :(

  • The problem with the youth of today is than most their music says nothing, so they have become used to hearing nothing!

And when there is something to hear they can no longer think anything!

We, Humanity, need to listen more!

  • Does anyone know where this was filmed and in what year? Great version of this great song!

  • Someone has to make a movie of this man's life NOW! It might be the thing to spin this crazy world in the right direction.

  • I believe we should surrender to the chineese and than all mothers forced to abort and eat their unborn I wish the usmc was splased with napalm

  • Great version. Ritchie has so much energy and I can't take my eyes off that left thumb.

Some of those kids look a little dumbstruck to have such a full-blooded man in front of them. Let's hope plenty of it sank in and they still remember it.

  • Powerful song, powerful lyrics. Woodstock 69 opened with this. Music today can't touch the creativity and message of the 60s and 70s. Even the 80s and early 90s had some good stuff. Too bad, today's kids don't realize what they're missing.

    Yo!

  • Awsome Johnny , awsome song , thanks for posting this version , the best one i think

  • @MzColumbo5529

    Thanks for posting that info.

  • @BrutusCass people listened to shit music back then too. Dont blame the people, blame the government and the corporations who have neutered any chance of people hearing truth.

  • @BrutusCass EXACTLY!

  • i wonder how many more wars will be added to this profound tune
