I love the fact this music is so beautiful, even the YouTube comments are harmonious and chilled out.

Having been a pianist while I was growing up (sadly, no more), I couldn't help but notice the subtle thud of the sustain pedal. For some reason that subtle sound just adds so much depth to an already beautiful piece.

@plzletmego87 You are 100% right. I am just satisfied that I found someone who I can share feeling with. Magic of Machinarium, what can I say.

@locksh It is a very rare thing to have two people who don't even know each other express their opinions now-a-days (especially on YouTube) without getting into some stupid argument. I have to thank you for that!

@plzletmego87 Thank you for having this pleasant conversation with me :D

@locksh Thanks for your insight! It's very much appreciated :)

@plzletmego87 There is a strange type of nostalgia that appears in places you didn't meet before. Happened to me in this game. I played Samorost and Samorost 2 but I still find Machinarium extremely nostalgic or just very sad (dunno) related or not related to both of these games. I just feel like I am experiencing the feeling of another lonely person in another time in another place, too hard to describe. This peaceful nostalgy.

@locksh I guess that makes two of us. That's some pretty deep stuff; what you wrote. I wish life itself could be like this music. I feel almost as if I am taken to a better place. A time and place where things are.....simpler. The nostaliga is perfect and I can't seem to help that you can also relate to such a place when listening to this music. I can tell from in your writing how you are to such a degree.

@plzletmego87 Amen :D
And I can tell you why I think it reminds us the childhood, at least at my case -
There are two games - Samorost and Samorost 2 (not quite sure about the name though) and I once remembered those games but couldn't remember the names. When I saw Machinarium on the app store (iPad 2) I decided to buy it because it was nostalgic as hell for some reason. I will never regret the confirmation of the buying, best game iv'e ever played. I hear the soundtracks and almost tear up.

@locksh Yep, exactly. You really hit the nail on the head when you mentioned childhood. I really want to play this game. I was saying if the music is this good, the game itself must be amazing!
Nonetheless, it just nice to know that there is someone out there who feels where I am coming from =D
I picture myself laying in a vast, open, grassy field on a sunny day, clear sky with a nice gentle, cool breeze and big white, puffy/fluffy clouds passing over. I'd just lie there, time has no importance. I would watch the clouds move and take different shapes. I would see it as "my home away from home."
Almost sounds like home to me.

This is one of the most sublime soundtracks I have ever heard. Am simply hypnotised by it.
