WATCH IN HD On the weekend of March 27th through the 28th, 2010 N.A.S. Kingsville hosted Wings over South Texas featuring the world famous Blue Angels. Traveling with the Blues is their supply transport C130 fondly
referred to as "FAT ALBERT". Myself, along with a small group were lucky enough to hitch a ride. I was able to mount several cameras in the plane, One in the cockpit and another in the cargo area, along with one on the ground. The following short video is a chronicle of this once in a lifetime trip. The Video was shot using a Panasonic HPX 300 using the AVC Intra 50 codec

  • Nah, I think the tax payers made that happen. Hope you guys enjoy blowing thousands of tax dollars on fuel for fun flights like that!

  • @airbornemp19 Im a taxpayer, so in essence, I helped pay for it right? Im sure given the chance, you would love the ride also

  • @a77boy Who's to say I haven't had rides like that during my military avaition experiance. I would love it sure, but its everyone's money and just a handfull reap the benefits. Fair? Don't ask yourself why the US Dollar is so weak and prices continue to rise while the Government and military continue to spend its own currency into oblivion. Its Why our national debt is more than GDP.

Its waste. Period. The JATO takeoff serves no purpose militarily.I know this because I'm a Pilot.

  • @airbornemp19 thanks for you service!!!

  • The Coms weren't recorded with this video. They are ripped from another video.

  • @CCWSig Yeah,, The day we shot in the cockpit they did not have the audio patch cable with them, the one day they forgot it.. We had to improvise and use the audio from a flight the following day, or something like that. Plus the 1080p AVCINTRA codec was not cooperating that day,, The 6 channels of audio were giving us problems. My audio guy was having a hell of a time in the heat, and the DAT recorder was low on batteries, so we had to make due with what we had. Thanks for noticing though :)

  • @airbornemp19 Bullshit.

  • @airbornemp19 Shut the fuck up, hater.

  • @airbornemp19 They ran out of jato a while ago.... And note the absence of flames on the sides.... (I am a 14 year old pilot...)

  • @airbornemp19 just quit over reacting and enjoy the video for what it is... a fine performance by a fine crew, and a wonderful aircraft

  • ARe they still flying??

  • thats not a waste of money flight its P R and and also good traing for the crew also demonstrating to JOHN Q. Public haw there money is being spent by demonstrating crew effenency and just how versatile this equiptment is . there not doing anymore than wouldent have to do in the fleet when called upon toi do so. the navy also dose rescue work during disasters where short field manuvering is nessasary . every bit of training they get makes them more efficent when it has to be done when nessasary

  • HAHA, look at 2:08 the guys in the background!

Hahahaha I laughed so hard!!! :D

  • No need for the sound track
