i love the metro in helsinki... Oh and the orange colour, I can't imagine it being any other colour. the metro is quite quick. It takes about 25 minutes from one end to the other, then again Hellsinki is qute small... It takes a person on bike a bit more than 2hours to get from one ned to the other.

Taking the metro to Brändö and switching to bus line 11 to Blåbärslandet is a fine way to Högholmen Zoo, but most people prefer taking the ferry from the Market Square or Skatudden. I myself like the retro feeling in the Helsingfors metro, and God - the sound effects are astonishing when the trains accelerate or brake!
